This course is designed to help you prepare for all things Nursing Science on the NCLEX®! We cover ABGs, fluid balance, electrolytes, and lab values! In this course you will learn the basics of ABGs and how to interpret them quickly and easily. The fluid & electrolytes lessons eliminate the confusion and content overwhelm when learning about fluid balance in the body and the most common electrolytes. We break down where fluid is stored in the body, how and why it moves between those places, and the different types of IV fluid solutions we can give patients. We also talk about the most important electrolytes, their role in the body, and what happens when they’re too high or too low. The lab values course will help you understand how to interpret some of the most common and most important laboratory values you might see in your patients.
